I might just be about to become a TVR owner (hopefully). On the point of ordering a T350C. Just haven't taken the final step yet. Can anyone give me some encouragement! I've had short test drive (accompanied) and I bought the reg no T3SOX (T3SOC already gone!) from the DVLA this morning so there's probably no turning back! Help!

go buy one, had mine since the start of the month and its excellent (and i say that as somebody whom had a new model 911 before)

Good value for money, well built and great to drive.

Not a bad choice of number I went to T3S0 R as C had gone months back!

Have you kept your letter spacing as standard (legal) or closed it up a bit? Secondly, what's the easiest way to attach photos to this forum?

Thanks Mrs Fish. You're so persausive! How can I say "No" to such a well-reasoned argument for going ahead? Thanks

Oh dear - incorrect spacing. If you obtain/use a plate like this you:
1. Are liable for a large fine.
2. The trader supplying/manufacturing the plate is also liable for prosecution..

Good job its only for display purposes then and i fit a road legal one if I drive anywhere. Obviously given that theres a maximum fine equivalent to 2/3 days wages I simply couldnt afford to risk it!

If you did drive it like this then what sort of fine could you potentially expect, I see so many very dodgy ones [you know an abundance of yellow and black dots, itallic letters, letters at a slant etc] that i dont think mine overall is that bad?

Nice artwork. Out of interest, what's the colour as I've yet to choose?

Thanks Flasher. I'm on a steep learning curve here so sorry to ask so many questions but how do you insert a picture directly into the forum rather than link to a URL? Like the colour.

Flasher, if you don't like the legislation in this country, may I suggest you try another..

Flasher/Bennno,

I'm with you guys...whats wrong with Benno's plate!...can't understand '999's comments.

Being an 'Essex Boy' the amount of cars I see with poxy reg plates with their mandatory blue 'washer' lights...racing around Southend every weekend is untrue. The plates they display far more liable for prosecution but the police do nothing to stop them around here!!

At least Bennno's plate has correct sizing etc...not minuscule letters that you couldn't read if involved in an accident or worse. At least Bennno does it with style, a TVR is no boy racers car is it!

Alan.
