Twas me!!!
Took one of the secretaries for lunch...
Needless to say she liked the car and I was blatantly posing with Armani shades on!!!
The attention we got was incredible whether that was down to her, me or the Tuscan is anyones guess, but I know what my money is on.
All Torque, do you work at Marconi then?

Yeah mate for my sins! Have to say, the Tusc looked fabulous, and you looked pretty pleased with yourself.... (wonder why? ) Was gonna shout over, but you were already revving out of the carpark.... got the usual comments off my mates about reliability, safety features etc etc, so kept quiet, and went for a pint...
Might see you in Nottingham next week!

3. Just after 1000k service car just cut out then after a while would start OK and run for 20 mins then do the same again.
Blimey, you can't argue with 1000k miles, who said the Speed six wasn't durable!!
I was going to make that joke
Blimey, you can't argue with 1000k miles, who said the Speed six wasn't durable!! There did it anyway!
Oops I dont expect it to last that long but would like more than a few miles between visits to the shop.
Now had some sunny days and roof down fun and things dont seem so bad. I hope shes OK from now on because it is a great car. Went to Chedder at the weekend, sounded great.

Great News!!!!
Got the car back this morning. As reported earlier it was a failed fuel injector that was continously pumping fuel into the cylinder. It's also had a new cylinder head because of the cross threading of the spark plugs.
Thanks to the guys at TVR power for getting me the car back so quickly, which means I will be out doing my stuff at Bruntingthorpe tomorrow.
Drove the car back from TMS to work this morning and it was superb...
See you all tomorrow!!

No you didn't, actually we all said how good it looked and sounded, and we were coming back from the Grange, not too it when he roared off.....
have a look in the car park today and the Tuscan has been replaced by a spanking T350C....
I can see it out of my window and can't wait for the drive home!!!

Me and Steve (MervynP) just went for a look in the car park, but couldn't see ya. Any chance of mailing me your mobile number - I'll give you a bell and maybe we can have a look this afternoon.....

Woo hoo! Just went wandering around the carpark, looking like a vandal and finally spotted the beast! Looks absolutely fecking gorgeous - great colour combo Flash! The car is much smaller than I've imagined from photos but sexier because of it. Love the interior, and the rollcage looks great as well. The doors are very Griff-esque, which can only be a good thing. It's the business!
Wish I brought my Griff in now! Doh!

Sorry Andy to read about all your troubles, I still cannot remember how I skipped onto your thread, but I'm glad that for the "moment" we have a happy ending.TVR would not survive without people like you, and head office must sort you, and others like you immediately.
Whilst these sites/ threads give others a chance to sound off and possibly even take pleasure in stating that presently "their foreign bits of kit" are ever reliable etc etc etc. I can assure you, in our family we have French, Japanese, cars & Italian Bikes that are just as prone to malfunction as anything we British produce.
No one wishes any kind of breakdown on any others, that has earned and spent their cash on whatever they choose.
The pleasure TVR has given me over the years comes a close second to that my good lady wife has bestowed on me, "if she wasn't standing over my shoulder at present, I would probably tell the truth".
I hope the anger / frustration fades, and the GRIN that's usually ever present reappears.
Best Wishes,
James & Marie.
