Right I'm going to try to recreate in summary form what I said earlier before being accidentally deleted by the obviously formidable Mrs Fish...Ahem
I think it went something like this:

**999** had said (before being deleted)

1. Sat on hands over the last few days to avoid responding to some of the posts from the more helpful members of this forum.

2. Not going to do the legwork for Bennno and Flasher to search for Targa pictures - if they're desparate then they should contact their dealers.

3. Quoted someone whose name and content escapes me but went something like 'There are some who think they are right all of the time and some who are more right than others. Knowledge is power and those in receipt of such knowledge can comment righteously.'
: prepareforinsultingpersonalremarkfromflasher :

4: The fact that the original post asked a simple question about the T but was met with flasher's 'harbinger of doom' comments about never going to happen and even if it did it would be ages.

5. That these sort of comments without basis could (stress could) force a wavering TVR buyer to forget or cancel an order, losing TVR money. Not exactly the friendly TVR brotherhood thing to do.

Over to you Bennno and Flasher, I'll expect you to tear this to shreds....

Not if they don't want to get a from me

We will play nicely won't we Flasher/Benno?

Thanks for your restraint 999.

I was speaking to TVR last week. The T is definitely being worked on.

***999*** good to see you back

agree the t350t will be out at some point

i only pushed you to back up your comments as you were pretty rude earlier in this thread, in defence you were provoked a bit by flash

Tell us what the mystery car is then to restore your credibility.... (tbar, no t bar, exposed roll bars above doors)...

MrsFish

Why have you edited out virtually all of 999's post? Confused, particularly as our noble leader had just commended 999 on his restraint?

I did it purely by accident. I never intended to and I have sent **999** an email explaining why. No reason I just pressed edit instead of the quote button by mistake :hangsheadinshame: I too think his post was very good. What can I say except SORRY

No problem MrsF - thought it seemed a bit odd, and if I had seen your next post I wouldn't have posted myself.

Good luck with the moderating. By the looks of this thread you could have your work cut out!

I know the thing, I am a moderator on some other website and as I cannot stand spelling mistakes I (nearly) always edit the posts to correct them.

Sometimes when just wanting to quote I click the edit button, etc.

You're not alone Mrs Fish !

Air con - Well, I know others are recommending it regardless of the model, but to be honest I'm no fan of aircon anyway. Might help your resale value though.
My aircon will involve taking the panels off the roof and using the elements!!

Bennno - ha, no mystery, but I don't really need to restore my credibility anyway. Whilst the T may not be exposing its roll cage, it seems to be following in the steps of the new (and I hate to make the comparison) Porsche Targa (full sliding sunroof - ok I'll admit not quite the same, but the principle is very similar)that has roof remaining around the doorline. Also the newest Merc Coupe - not sure which model. Suppose this demonstrates that the concept is fine strengthwise as these cars don't have such a stiff chassis in the first place. Let us not forget the Rover 220 Coupe with the full length removable glass panels - with...wait for it..... roof around the tops of the doors..... see I knew it had been done before
