***999*** good to see you back

agree the t350t will be out at some point

i only pushed you to back up your comments as you were pretty rude earlier in this thread, in defence you were provoked a bit by flash

Tell us what the mystery car is then to restore your credibility.... (tbar, no t bar, exposed roll bars above doors)...

Bennno

Bennno - ha, no mystery, but I don't really need to restore my credibility anyway. Whilst the T may not be exposing its roll cage, it seems to be following in the steps of the new (and I hate to make the comparison) Porsche Targa (full sliding sunroof - ok I'll admit not quite the same, but the principle is very similar)that has roof remaining around the doorline. Also the newest Merc Coupe - not sure which model. Suppose this demonstrates that the concept is fine strengthwise as these cars don't have such a stiff chassis in the first place. Let us not forget the Rover 220 Coupe with the full length removable glass panels - with...wait for it..... roof around the tops of the doors..... see I knew it had been done before

Thats a sunroof on all those cars not a targa, targa is complete open top from frameless door to door, like an original 911 targa, toyota MR2, corvette, 308gts etc. Or a Tuscan!

Might as well include a 944 Porsche to those above as it has a lift out sunroof panel.

Isn't this all getting a bit anally retentive, gentlemen? Benno, ****999****, flasher, (and anyone else) you've all managed to prove you know lots about cars. So, please, will you drop the playground bickering now?

I'm sure it'll look good. Just be sure to take your time over choosing the interior...

Yet another smartarse post. Not really bothered what you or anyone else thinks of me, I'm not that conceited....unlike some.

I won't be posting on this forum anymore. I'm sure people will prefer to listen to your obviously huge wealth of expertise and fantastic wit instead of hearing my "know nothing" rubbish.

Cheerio Folks. It's been nice knowing the majority of you.

cheers

Flash.

Its pretty sad whats happened to this forum over the last couple of weeks or so.

As a buyer of a t350C (Collecting Tues this week) I've derived a great deal of useful and often amusing info from this forum thats helped shape my order/spec choice as well as reading about owners highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the car from first hand experience. Anythingl which filled the seemingly endless wait for the thing to arrive.

Wherever you stand either as owner (waiting or current)or just fan I for one want to hear as much about this awesome car as possible and its a shame if we lose someones input(whether you agree with it or not) who obviously is passionate about the marque and is one of the very first owners out there. I also think theres a fair few members out there with useful contributions who have started to back away from posting in case they get "attacked" for expressing a view.

I'm coming back to TVR after 8 years away on other things (993, Elise,& a bit of club racing) and I can honestly say I was gobsmacked by this car when I "bumped" into it at Motorshow 2002 (was mumbling something about ugly Porsche SUV at the time), and took that up a level when I saw my car last week at the dealer pre pdi. So I want to know fuel spews out of it at the pumps, the handbrake is dodgy, the engines fab, who the best insurers are, how to run it in properly, what to wash it with, tyres, pictures blah blah .....

I'll get my coat
