Ask a simple question....and get a load of b*****ks in return! Does your teacher know you are using the schools computers? Anybody out there have some constructive advice? Does DAB work any better?

The radio in our 350 was a bit crappy, but it was in the Tuscan aswell. Fish has installed DAB in it now, and it is much better.

Is that back on topic enough for you?

PS I didn't bin or delete anyone either

DAB tuner in the Tamora seems to work well - I can get Radio 4 and Radio 2 seemlessly from West London to the Midlands.

I suddenly feel my age.

I'm sure it picks up Kiss FM and Radio 1 just as well

And if you don't want DAB then I can recommend the mod-wise electric/amplified aerial kti. £35 from david beer (on here somewhere) takes an hour or so to fit, works a treat (except on AM for R5 909) Rich...

all you need is the aerial amplification device as suggested on here, £30 will get you good reception

And I must say DAB is great but not got full UK coverage yet

At last! Some sense. I'm going to try getting the booster from Mod-wise fitted at the first service (hardly any DAB coverage in S.Wales!) Of course by then it'll be run-in.... so i won't need the radio! Thanks for your help.

Ben
It was the remote arial unit that I got for £50. I was replacing the head unit anyway. I got an aluminium fronted JVC op of the range jobbie at about 1/2 price £225 as against £400+.

Jobs a goodun

All these were off the web of car radio dealers. I actually rang them up to place the orders, top service as well. On of them was www.incardiscount.co.uk

See you folks
