Picked up my new (9month old) Tamora on Saturday and it's rained since. But, it does go like buggery, even after the Chimaera, and it looks the dogs. A few niggles but hopefully they will get sorted. It's going to get used everyday, what better way of travelling to work, and sit on the drive so it won't be pampered. Can't wait to get it out on the track. I might even get round to posting a picture on my profile.

Good news Nigel!
So what colour is it?
Where did you get it from?
Know anything about the car's history?
Cheers.... Andrew

Thanks chaps ... I got it from TMS in Melton. Originally from Peter Smith's, it's Crystal Topaz and done 4k. I've no idea of the history other than the previous owner partexed it for a Tuscan, apparently.

I had a look at your old Tamora Flasher, but I'm not a great lover of yellow cars, hence this choice and funnily enough we passed a Chimaera on the motorway but despite leaning over and waving furiously he seemed pretty uniterested in exchanging pleasantries so we continued our dice with speed cameras and unmarked rozzas.

Welcome aboard Nigel, hope you enjoy the car. Look out for me if you are anywhere near Romford. Let us know how you get on driving to and from work, I am contemplating the same thing to make use of my insurance through the summer. Will you be driving into London or local traffic? I am amazed how friendly the car is around town. Looking at other threads the only problem maybe temperature in queues and having the pain of checking the oil every day, (because it can catch you out if you get blase about) it!

No pictures yet, the weather hasn't really been that good, and I keep forgetting. Hope you're okay Jon and that I don't have need of your services for quite some time !!

My drive to work is through the dualcarraigeways of Milton Keynes, so leaving at 7:40 means there are no queues and no sitting in traffic. It's just unfortunate that the trip isn't longer because the thing's hardly warm by the time I arrive. The trouble is with all the empty roads, and them being very straight, I can't see the back tyres lasting long.

I can only suggest that you leave a little earlier and take a few detours to make the route longer. Should be plenty of time then for things to warm up a little.
Cheers,
Iain

Keep an eye on the revs until the oil is up to temperature

I'm OK thanks Nigel. May be a longer trip for you to Ewelme on pleasure not business.

Nigel,

Congrats. I'll keep an eye open for you around MK. Wave if you see a green t350c.

Now entrusted my car to TMS as well after a certain dealership with a very common surname conned me out of 3k.
