I think my T350 needs some sun visors- I nearly fell off yesterday evening because I couldn't see! (sun glasses don't help) Anybody managed to find a fix for their absence or am I the only one without them?

Until then I'll just avoid driving East in the morning and West in the afternoon.

I often resort to wedging a bit of cardboard between the winsdcreen and the roll bar!
I asked at the factory and was told that "real British sports cars don't have sun visors!"
Great answer! No help at all!

Interesting response from the factory!!
My cerbera's got sunvisors - if its not a real British sportscar and 'cos its got 4 seats it therefore must be an MPV....

They will be fitting sun visors in about 25 -30 cars time,i know this because my car was supposed to be deliverd last week and wasnt, the dealer told me that tvr would put them on for "get this £400",to which i said no thanks, you know the more threads i read i carnt help thinking i have bought myself a pile of crap,i mean 40 grand for a car and bits fall of it.And i dont think every body saying thats o.k because they are hand built is good enough.
Lets just hope im wrong???????

Not to worry sir - they've solved this problem! Cerberas haven't been made with sunvisors for a couple of years now AFAIK
I think the reason may be down to PW being tall, and wanting that extra few cm of vision that a visor takes up when it is in the up position.
Alternatively it's something less to break

Just buy a better pair of shades!

No point in driving around like Charlie Chan............

Sunvisors in the cerbera used to obscure half the screen, making them quite useless so am not really bothered about their absence in the t350c. Just always ensure that shades are to hand whatever the weather!

Even more interesting... mine are very narrow and obscure very little of the screen and actually work quite well...

What about a hat? PH do a nice line in caps! (Slick marketing, eh, Ted?!)

In fact, Ted, why not offer to supply TVR with caps to give away with all non-sun visor models - you could cut a deal for supply of large volumes

I would have thought sun visors would be an MOT requirement, although saying that you dont see them on motorbikes either

Went to Silverstone on Sunday, and the new factory T350C was there (TVR 100). It had the sun visors fitted, very tastefully done as well. A few other improvements as well.
Roller blind type cover in the back to cover up any items left in car. Speakers now fitted in the doors, The Exhaust tail pipes slightly different, they are slightly larger in diameter. Glovebox lid now slightly sculptured to give an area for your finger to fit into to open it!
Car looked stunning.
Carn't wait now untill later in the year when the targa is finalised. Yes, I really do think it will happen

Gemini - after your debacle on Saturday night - singing out of tune - you should keep a low profile - Nil Points. Nice legs but what was that dangling from your A**E.

My missus drives a Smart ...Check out the visors in one of them ,they are quite small and might do.
we have a T350c and me being a bit of a short arse sits pretty low in it. I think TVR should fit them as standard !!
