225/35 fronts, 235/40 rear. Must put them back on following my IoM trip! I've kerbed one of the front ones, but a Halford's metallic silver touch up kit has done a really good job of sorting it out!

The original 4.0l Tuscan has 360bhp.

Wasn't it 380bhp?

First it was 360bhp, then with Red Rose (extra £4k) it was 380bhp, finally the S is 390bhp. Just to confuse everyone... and the Cerbera version apparently stayed at 350bhp.

So considering you can still buy the Cerebera Speed Six, it must have been the 360bhp 4.0l engines they were getting rid of. Presumably that is what the mystery engine in the Tamoras is.

As they say, there is no difference between the 3.6 and the 4.0, so why not?

The other feedback I had was the first two or three may have had a few tweaks to impress the press.....

I was holding back quite a lot when we were out in the Tamora's that day.........

Can't believe you kerbed the wheels nubbin, you are worse than my Missus mate

Ok, are you sure it's not fitted with cup holders (sorry, pint holders ) and a bar and a missus who butters the bread and a bedroom and a disco...
You seem to have the best car in the world Flasher

What does this mean for your insurance? Presumably they should be told, to be on the safe side.

Also, out of interest, is there a way of externally measuring the capacity of an engine? My only idea would be to attach some kind of (peak hold) air volume measurement device to the spark plug socket and turn the engine over.

Just wondered ....

Flasher, but the press have never been near you're car as it was a dealer demo. That's why TVR build press cars, for the press!

"holding back a bit!" - stop talking shite! Is that the same as you were doing a few weeks before in the wet when I had to wait for you!

Cheers..... Andrew

God !!!! Thom and GB1390......

I was only pulling your legs

It is true that they may have used the 4.0 engines on the first few though, but I guess that unless they tell us, we will never know.

I was right up your chuff in the wet Andy, it was Nigel in the Cerb that couldn't keep up, he spun the bloody car once just trying keep us in sight...

thought so!!!

You should be able to keep up Andrew, it's nubbin I'm worried about with his diddy 3.6 engine and his liking for hitting kerbs instead of looking where he's going!!!

I'm sure I hit the kerb when I was trying to get around a big, egg-yellow roadblock - Jeez, he was all over the place, wrong side of the road, up the arse of a biker, overtaking on blind bridges with a tanker coming the other way! Still caught up with him no problemo, and I think he now claims his car is a thinly disguised TuscanR soft top prototype, or summat! His car looked great from the back though!! (But, I was so close, I reckon he was going bald....)

Just a thought - Do you think in time the Tamora 4.0 litre will become a fabled beast in the same way as the 4.3 BV Griffith?

If so we could have the same situation with more survivors than originally built - although I doubt official figures will exist for 4.0 litre Tamoras.

Cheers,
JSG.

Sorry to sound the sceptic, but don't you think the whole 4.0l Tamora bit is an urban myth?

There seem to be loads surrounding TVR, and every other person you see says their TVR is a special one.

Like that guy in sprint who had a "special" GT Cerbera.
