Out of interest sevenman, how did you fit the quick release bonnet pins?

Sandy
I decided these were a good idea after seeing another Tamora with them. That chap had the work done at Track V Road.

I used a 2-stage approach to fitting:
- Take car to Track V Road, request they fit bonnet pins
- Pay them for an hours work (I think) + pins

They are useful to have. It is a 2 person job to remove the bonnet, and once I have done it a few more times it will be very quick. However, their use changed the bonnet alignment slightly and now some paint has rubbed away on one of the sides. I am going to get this sorted at the next service. Worth checking and correcting immediately after fitting.

I have just sold my car and still have this washer bottle if anybody is interested in buying one?

I didn't get round to fitting it so it's still brand new.

NOW SOLD

Lee, when we met at the tunnels you said you would make one for me on your next batch. When will be the next Sagaris batch? Hope all is well and all the best for 2013

Which bolt do they drill to it the bonnet pins. Is it the one that is parallel to the ground? I had a look at doing this to mine.

Cheers.

Not been out in the car since! I am going to fix it over the next week along with a couple of other jobs. Sounds good on the bottle, thank you!

It is the bolt parallel to the ground. As this is off-topic for the washer bottle theme, I will just link to the pics.
