Fank U Muchly

Just waiting on my touch up paint for the stone chip I got on the M5 frown
Then the paint film
Then Snowdonia (sorry Quinny wink )

A few other things I've noticed.
Those wing mirrors are MAAAHOOSIVE! I think air traffic control might find them useful!
The tyre pressure system is great, the right hand panel in the dash now has an extra screen showing the tyre pressure in each tyre. Showed an issue with the PDI though, they were all over the shop! Soon fixed that though! A bit annoying it is right at the end of the scroll, I'd prefer it to be right after the digital speedo.
That CF front splitter sticks out a fair way when the no plate holder is removed I'm going to have to be careful with that at £4k each!
With the light weight seat in "comfy" position there is not much clearance to get to the storage behind them (in a roadster wink ) Paint film on the back of them is needed I think!
That little £100 rest that goes in the cupholder really does save your elbow!
The combination of the wider tyres, quicker rack and uprated suspension make it a bit fidgety on poor Mways & A roads. Not a great problem as I like a car that talks even if it is gibberish sometimes wink

So what's this Mikey - are you arranging a northern Vantage run out to Snowdonia? Good 2 x Lightning Silver coupe & roadster photo shoot oppourtunity?

I'll get some dates together and have a think about a nice run.
I'm not bothered about the wet it's spent >80% of its current mileage in the rain coming up from Exeter laugh

The new mirrors are indeed enormous.

It's £49 for a new glass by the way (white van man took out my passenger one in the first week).

bds! I've still got the crappy four coloured lights buried under the passenger side dash.

Much nicer than the crappy lights under the dash. Properly integrated - like Porsche managed for the original iteration of the 997...

The Vette had it integrated in 1989.

So based on that, they should manage adding a keyless lock/ignition system by 2027.

Here's a few more pictures of some the changes to the S

A better pic of the seats, looking dirty already!

Vantage S Collection 033 by mikey k V8VR, on Flickr

The forged alloys (same as the sport pack but with S size alloys), 6 pot calipers and floating discs
I'm pleased with the colour of the wheel and caliper as they very nearly match and will hide the brake dust as well.

Vantage S Collection 041 by mikey k V8VR, on Flickr

The updated lighter interior is much nicer, I really like the centre console and the new S pattern on the top.

The new beam blades sit a lot lower than the old style ones and look quite nice with the slots machined in the arms

Here's a few views of the sat nav
We discovered it also has traffic info and rerouting (the little green cars top left)

Car is looking good Mikey smile

How are you coping without heated seats in a roadster? They would be a fairly high priority for me!

Can you lift up both the wipers now when washing the car, without one of them fouling on the bonnet? Don't know if the V8V did that before, but it drives me insane on the DB9.

What's the little docking station for in the 3rd pic? Or is it something you have added?

I know I will miss the heated seats but I have a cunning plan to retrofit them wink
Not tried lifting the wipers yet< i'll let you know when I get a chance to wash it!
Dock is my Tom Tom sat nav which will be hard wired in. The Garmin in built systm is very good and a leap on from the Volvo one but the TT has numerous features I use the GArmin doesn't frown
