Theres your answer. Aston drivers break wind, they don't fart.

Great pics by the way, (seen through the haze)

In the first pic, at first glance, I thought you'd fitted some massive touring car spoiler to your green goddess biggrin

Great pics, love the light interior, rare as hens teeth too. Looks like you had a better day than me!

I know I'm biased, but looking at the two cars side by side like that, doesn't the Aston look better from EVERY angle? smile

Was thinking EXACTLY the same thing, and I am a Cayman design fan as well!

Not to mention the interior, my god inside that Porsche is dull! Might not look so bad if it wasn't for the gorgeous V8V parked along side smile

One thing I will say, is that on roads like that, the Cayman is the one that has the edge on handlingyes...
Sounds like you need your Geo setting up properly!

Out of interest, how did build quality compare? From what I've heard, Astons are better built these days, but I'm guessing they're still not as bullet-proof as ze Germans?

A lighter, mid-engined car with a low slung flat-six and all the bits that come with an 'S'? I'm sure the Aston was *almost* there but the Cayman will always have the ultimate edge over it in theory!

oh well, will have to use 6th gear next time,as for the smelly car it was quinnys that smelt like a sewer, think he may have soiled himself trying to shake me off, think the cayman in most peoples hands is alot easier to drive fast ,only had it a few weeks but would humble alot of cars in twisty bits ,it is so well balanced. Just as well you took early retirement Quinny ,you better get back up their and hone your skills ,because next time you will only be seeing the rear of it.laugh

biggrin

I've never driven a Cayman but I love the looks of them. My 911 was a phenomenal car to drive and i'm guessing the Cayman is very close. Great pictures too by the way.

It was done last weeksmile Stratstones in Wilmslow. And to be fair, it feels excellent, I just think the Cayman feels a little more balanced....
How come you didn't get Buckely to do it?
I love the Hoon routes round that neck of the woods!
We must do one later in the year when my new one is here!

Why is it the porker has the AM numberplate?

Re Geo - there are some places that will change the Geo from standard - makes a huge difference to the feel.
