To the OP:
It is now officially "tomorrow". So where's the pics of the car?
The OP must be either driving or sitting in their garage drinking in the beauty of their latest acquisition. Naturally! It is now officially "tomorrow". So where's the pics of the car?
Sorry All,
I've been having far too much fun to WANT to come in!
She is a beauty and more than I hoped for
Fuse 22 has been taken out but I'll pop it back in tomorrow, so I can listen to how it sounds and to check the flap is working properly.
Here are the pic as promised/ordered, lol.

Stylish car spoilt by the plates (IMHO)
To be fair I do understand your opinion on private plates and in some cases I might actually feel the same, but then these plates will only mean something to a very select few and that's how I like it For some of us it's an inside joke and found highly amusing, which is more important to me than the opinion of a stranger about town.
Of course I assume there must be some exceptions to the use of private plates? I've never really been one for wearing clothes with large designer logos or that advertise the car I drive
Judging by our chosen user names it's hardly any wonder we would clash with such a thing.

Fantastic car, in a fantastic colour for an Aston - but I would say that!
Leave Fuse22 out, no need for a switch. Quiet enough with it out when cruising on motorways.
Oh, and you can upload more than one photo per post, just carridge return between each link.

Thanks for the comments
I think I'll leave fuse 22 in as I'm on call 24hrs a day and sometimes may be required to report in at 02:00 or any other horrible time of the night. My Maserati had a Larini exhaust fitted which really wasn't fair on the neighbours! LOL
Thanks for telling me how to add more than one pic. I was so tired last night after all the driving and not in the mood for fiddling with the pics.

A beautiful looking car, but I am a +1 re the plate - looks terrible.

Can you not treat a forum as you would a real life situation? Would you tell a kid their drawing is crap? Would you tell someone in a wheelchair they look like a transformer? S
I posted the pics at others requests and have not solicited honest opinions on my choice of plate.
If you posted a pic of your wife, I wouldn't comment that I think the dress is nice but it's ruined by her figure - IMHO. That's just not socially acceptable.
I'm amazed that I am a member of 3 testosterone fuelled bodybuilding forums and yet I do not experience this sort of primal behaviour on any of them, but I do here.
Why would someone feel the need to p1ss on my parade? This is just my second day of ownership and I get this. Well thank you very much!
People who do this must either be insecure or lack social skills. Those really are the ONLY 2 options. There is no other explanation justification.
Don't try to be a keyboard Rambo. Just leave this thread and stay on your side of the playground and I'll stay on mine.

Lose the plate & holder
Spot on! I had the car cleaned today and I thought the exact same thing ...... You must be a fellow genius .................. Just had a quick thought before posting this... If I take it off and someone nudges the front (happened on the Maserati) it would cause much more damage. I'll probably still do it though! Damn!

Sounds like you had a blast. I had one of the world's cheesiest plates stuck to my car for years - originally on my Boxster about 11 years ago and then on my 911 a few years later. People call me Muj (short for my full name) and the plate was B16 MUJ. Everyone thought I was mad, in fact that included me as I thought it was daft buying a plate like that even before buying it. If you consider I work in a very serious job and regularly meet very senior people in large companies, responsible for making billion pound decisions - you'd think it was part of a recipe for career suicide. However, my number plate made me out to be a humorous person (I'm not big or tall) and people ended up seeing the lighter side of me. It even became an ice breaker at stuffy meetings. It's not what Joe public makes of you, it's what people make of each other when they meet in person and get into conversation or dialog. Could you be friends with some who called himself BIG MUJ and drove a white 997 cab? You'd probably think not, until you met me! Opinions are opinions and we're all entitled to them, as long as you feel good about your decisions that's all that matters.
