0W-40 I think. Either that or 5W-30 (that might be for the Polo, can't remember off the top of my head). I'll check when I get back smile

You have a wife that listens to guys? Or were you hoping Lady Di would have a word with her?
My wife would assume a conspiracy if my mates told her anything like that! wink

I think Mojo has done a great deal to drop from £1600 to £900........might pushing his luck to try and supply his own oil smile
This is sooooo painful to say - I agree with Mr Gould! wink
Businesses need to make money or they very quickly fail. Yes I know its obvious, but if you screw any supplier down to the last penny you will get shoddy service as something has to give.
Still think the original price Mojo was quoted was over the top, but I bet most of their customers just pay it and go away happy

Your maths is slightly flawed Mr Q, but your sentiments - as ever - are both heartfelt and accurate smile

DB9 4 year service at Rick's circa £800 - I was quoted £1250 by main dealer who came down to £900 when challenged - so you are about right.

I managed to negotiate my 4th year Vantage V8 service next September to £662 inc VAT when I bought the car last week (my first Aston **excited manly fist pump in the air**) the 5th year I was told was a standard £1,200, but I'm sure there's room for manoeuvre there.

The dealer I bought from offer a 2 year service plan which works out at £848 a service.

My fifth year service was a little over £600 all in and I supplied my own oil. This also covered the cost of the coolant change. So plenty of room for "discussion"!

Castrol or Mobil are fine. So long as the spec is the same.
