PS one of the things I can't stand about the show is how they have to explain everything to our American audience, like who the Stig is, every time he comes on.
I don't watch much TV but on the UK version Clarkson or one of the others always gives an intro to the Stig - usually the "tame raching driver" and "some say he's....." John, actually in our household and probably in many homes around America we find Clarkson's intro to the Stig pretty funny.So the US version sounds just as crap as the UK version!!
What I'm referring to is the embarrassing way the USA show introduced the Stig by stating the obvious and basic. They said something like: "The Stig is the fourth member of our team. He always wears white and never takes off his helmet so that he can keep a secret identity. We don't even know who it is." Then they go into the whole "Some say…" schtick.
Sad really.

So it's got baseline level of crap as the UK version plus some extra special crap for the US :-(
