I'll try and take a pic of it just out the factory on my Vantage S, compare it to yours!

Pictures as promised as sent out of the factory. The black felt over the end soon rubs off. You can see this one is already moving after a few roof movements
My last one the dealer added a load more felt tape around it to do it properly.
They can do that Wednesday when the do the grill.
