To 'Yeti' a car is actually a proper verb on this forum.

In much the same way as 'to semi-retire' is a proper verb too smile
I just keep on thinking about that Gary Oldman movie about 80s soccer hooligans!

You say it like it's a bad thing. I'm hurt George, I'm hurt weeping

Not a bad thing at all Yeti, in fact, I'd love to see it compared to a 'regular' DB9 Volante.

Now, if you start putting black 22" wheels on it, or matte paint, then it becomes a bad thing smile

It's about mountain bikes, nothing to do with shooting football hooligans smile

Sorry, but this topic reminds me a bit of Billy Joel getting bored of Christie Brinkley or Hugh Grant getting bored of Liz Hurley. I guess the ol' adage "Show me the most beautiful girl in the world, and I'll show you a guy who's tired of having sex with her." rings true for some with their cars too. laugh
Yes sorry about that. Believe me I do feel really bad about it; I know there are a lot of people that would give their left clannock for the car I'm privileged to own and drive.

Some good ideas, cheers all. Another thought I had was to get a run around aswell so thats its not my daily drive - might keep the magic there a bit. Maybe?

Quite possibly, a lot of us have Minis, Aygos, Polos etc as 'other cars' and believe me it makes the 'nice car' an awful lot more special when you fire it up!

It certainly does, you appriciate all the finer details of the Aston much more. Just don't do what I did and buy a supposedly reliable, pratical every day car that spends more time at the dealers in 4 months than the Aston has in almost 2 years.
