Has anyone seen this car and can tell me a little about it? What to expect and can it be ran as a semi-daily?
It woul be my first AM and first classic as well.

You would be better asking the AMOC site......I would think very unsuitable than anything more than a summer weekend car.....classics can easily cost you 5-10k per year to keep on the road

A friend of the family had about 5 or 6 of the old style Aston Martin cars at any one time, he probably had 12-20 in total.

Lovely but not reliable, they need a lot of TLC. If you have a great garage that will nurse maid the car then rock on.

But if you are used to modern 911 levels of reliability and refinement then look elsewhere.

I suggest that you test drive a number of these cars - don't fall in love at first sight!

Happy hunting!

If you mean the OP has money Adam2S then I think my comment is still relevent.....that type of classic Aston is not suitable for an everyday (or as the OP asks, ever other day)car....lots of wealthy people dont want a bottomless pit of a car........its not the most attractive of classics

The man sells uranium and thrashes 911's!!! Driving a classic Aston every day is the least of his worries! biggrin

(For what its worth I totally agree with your comments, I was just being daft)

There is a well researched / written book on the Aston V8's would be my starting point for anything like this. Look on Amazon for it - author is Willaim Priestland

Doubt even if the author would advise using something like that as a daily driver.

The book you are referring to, is called Aston Martin V8 and is written by William Presland.

Helps if you are at home and can look at the book, rather than trying to do it from memory whilst working at a customer site.
I blame my age for the meory loss, soon be old enough to get a DB9
