Get thee behind me. Err that doesn't sound right. I will defer judgement John, you know I'm tempted.

Hmm my car is still at WS, I could investigate.... Nooooooooo, stoppit. Arrrrgh.
When are you getting yours back? And will you collect? If you are collecting mine is in Newport Pagnell until the 2nd or 3rd of November and you can see it - just ask Simon Cook.

That might get you to whip out your purse!

I might keep the old strakes or perhaps put them on ebay - they are bloody expensive for a bit of chromed zinc!

Erm two days ago, been there since last Wed, originally told 5 days but now think I am not likely to see her until next Weds. Due to my much documented surgery ( do I hear violins! ) my car is being delivered. On a serious note I should be able to get back behind the wheel by then. I have been driving my OH's car and now feel fine driving.

Looking forward to seeing your strakes, might be the convincing I need.

What's wrong with Morning Frost? I think it's a lovely color and one of my first choices (probably second after Magma) for the V12V. I think it really looks good with the carbon in the vents, strakes, front lip spoiler and rear diffuser.
I just have a hatred of white cars. Imo they look very cheap and tacky, especially with black wheels. The same with unpainted carbon. But each to their own and all that smile

I agree white is not really an Aston colour -not really cool understated -more xr3i- but I think if you are going for the street racer look (ie children in Vantages ) it looks great - not sure whether you are supposed to buy it or mount it laugh:

Black wheels ain't my thing, but white (on the right car) seems to deliver additional road presence, particularly at night - I saw a white v8vs driving through London one Friday night and boy did it look good. If you genuinely don't like the attention, it's bad. Admittedly however, one of the reasons I buy the cars I buy is so that i *can* set myself apart. Yes, very shallow but that's me I guess.

I think that looks fantastic, but probably less so with any other colour... although Magma might work too... I assume it's just some vinyl, not keep on prettying up for the sake of it really unless it;s for Le Mans or the like.

Some of the Lotus Evoras have black rooves with the sills and wheels to match. Turned a good looking car into the rival of anything out there looks-wise. So generally I'm in agreement!

What goes for the V12V doesn't necessarily go for the other models. It'd look wrong on a DB9 for instance due to the innate levels of class, effortless performance and the fact it oozes sophistication and the ability to win at everything. On the children's Vantage.. well who cares, but I'm sure it'll go nicely with the flat grey exterior and plain black interior that 99% of them are wink

Rare and best. Look on youtube - an Aussie TV show test drives a Mako V12...
