I have never seen inside a 911, but do I know the back of the DB9 has acres of lovely leather and inches of space! My wife is 5' 7" and you can see how far back her seat is.

I had a 997.2 911 turbo for a few weeks and I owed a 997.1 C2S for a while.

In both cases you can fit a real person in the back seat behind a 6'1" driver. Not a lot of leg room and it's a very deep bucket seat so the back seat passenger has to have a compact arse!

Ahem.......could we please keep this thread on track !!!!
And there's me thinking the thread was really disciplined, in keeping with the Aston forum! If this had been the Lounge somebody would have asked for pictures of Adams wife by now! wink

Sorry if I am way off just like others the whole situation seems a little odd to me.
So if you are way off, which it seems you are, all you've done is raise suspicion against the OP who seems a pretty genuine sort - he's asking should he have bought a 4-seater? What an odd thing to do. Bored I suppose?

Seems to happen a lot on PH, someone accused me of working for Sarah Maynard, I called him on it and he wouldn't post again, he didn't need to. But his snidey work was done.

Thanks a million for posting that :-) now that is tight. Until they invent removable legs for little children, I doubt it's going to work. Also, I think my marriage can survive the current situation "no back seats, end of" as opposed to "why the he'll dd you get a car with back seats like that!!???". 4x4 + Aston it is then!

Good choice - I can see why you'd question the ability to get some good use from the car - but all the more reason to go out simply for a drive or book a nice restaurant and a babysitter so you can take out the Mrs too. wink

You know it makes sense cool Little children, even with detachable legs, don't stay little for long!

As I type, my daughter is at my mum's and my wife is beautifying herself for a jaunt to a nice little restaurant, and perhaps a movie afterwards. With some good advice and planning, life is a happier and more meaningful place.

Thank you PH AM forum :-)
