Hi,
just seen that the St Pauls protestors have now setup a second camp on Finsbury Square.
Be careful tomorrow if you are driving in and using the car park, or driving that route.

May have to shout abuse at them from the office wink

You'll have to get the window open first!

There's quite a few of us that work around the area, will have to organise a drink for evertone in the area. If you supply the cakes (rock) we'll throw them at the protestors for you.

Remember Neil that modern historical interpretation now views mlle Antoinette's gesture as an act of humanity. Something along the lines of there being no wheat to make bread so only cakes were being produced...she sees starving protestors and insists that cake supplies are given to them....that kind of thing.

Ergo, your deluge of rock cakes will actually be very much appreciated smile

There's an alternative, that the "cakes" were made with a mixture of sawdust, dandruff and flour...

I did wonder why they were protesting about capitalism at St Pauls!

I guess you're not going to convince anyone you're not a capitalist driving past in an AM! smile

Hopefully a peaceful protest - it's noisy enough with all the roadworks around the square mile at the moment.

They wanted to use Paternoster Square and protest in front of the LSE but it's not a public space so they could not.

I'm all in favour of the right to peaceful assembly and to protest but these guys are taking the piss. The cafe in Finsbury Square will suffer terribly and they'll mangle the bowling greens.

Ah, well now that does make sense. I am not sure how not working and stopping other people from doing so, helps anything - but there we are - another poor political campaign from a marginal group smile

I haven't actually been to the street to take a look yet today, is there actually something going on outside?

They've just woken up! All sitting around, not doing anything.
My business partner walked past them earlier, they were all sleeping - so he nicked some tent pegs

Brilliant, they've put up
Mayor Bloomberg Resign
on a banner! That's going to have an effect! They all look totally clueless. Only one of them awake this morning.
Not sure what they are trying to achieve.
