Fingers crossed, tomorrow my winter hack will become a 996 C4 Cabriolet smile

What a car for the money, it could in theory replace the Alfa GT, the VR6 and the Land Rover!
Are you selling the VR6? If it's standard (which I highly doubt knowing what you're like), let me know. I've always fancied one of them. smile

But in my defence It is a Discovery as I have to fit one of these in the back and the RR is a tad small for him.

Everything gets on well with a full grown Great Dane. They have no choice.
That Oaf of mine is still a puppy. 10 months old. We tried him iin a RR sport but he looked a bit cramped so the Disco HSE it was.
Most expensive dog I've bought when you consider all the add on's to go with him.

I am, but it's a 1993 MkIII Golf Auto VR6. It's comfy with leather and heated seats and rapid enough but tatty. It's a 1000 quid car so not sure there's much point selling it, ie has heated seats and a hatchback, might just keep it. Only done 30k miles though.

Pretty sure it isn't what you want, though you're welcome to it! smile

Sounds quite good, I'm sure it could be restored visually as long as it runs well. Is it the nice aubergine colour? I fancy building up a collection of old fast VWs. Been looking for a Polo G40, Lupo GTI and a Mk2 Golf GTI but trying to find unmolested ones is nigh on impossible frown

Yep your right. Hes soft and great with kids. I'm not suprised about her using a van though. Thats why we had to get the disco. Should have seen him in the back of the wifes 1 series before we traded it. biggrin

Nonsense! If you want to get anywhere, whatever the conditions you can't beat this! http://pistonheads.com/sales/3380534.htm

It may be slightly cold in the cabin though hehe

Winter hack bought and currently love it so much I haven't driven anything else. Hard top is off, even had a blast with the roof down last weekend. Carrera 4, so all wheel drive and Porsche Stability Management, 6-speed manual with the all-important heated seats!

And when it get's REALLY bad, of course:
