Nice to see a few owners of newer Aston's are joining the AMOC. Should be far far more though as Aston production has never been so high. The newer generation of cars attracts 'younger' owners, sadly the AMOC is a very old fashioned club and the age of the average owner I'm sure is far higher than say the TVR club, the boys at the top are all of a later than middle age and mostly of a military background, so someone like me never see's eye to eye. (I'm only 23 but my family have been AMOC members since the early 70's)

Also they don't get our membership fee until January at the earliest, not like they need our money sitting in there rather large bank account. ..and don't expect membership cards etc until March! lol

Paul, James and I all have the same, not common, surname. We're not sure if we are directly related but our respective families did in the past come from the Midlands.

I find the literature alone great value for the membership fee - and that's coming from a Jock !!!

The vast majority of members are great, down-to-earth people, dressed up in a multitude of accents.

Even the extreme 'farbacks' like LBS are nice people - they just need handling correctly biggrin
