Malicious Bar Stewards & Need a car cover.
Discussion
Some g1t has run something along the whole length of the car. Continuous scratch from headlight to tail. Luckily not deep i.e. can't feel it with fingernail.
Hoping it that a professional detailer who was already booked anyway will be able to fix it, as using it as my own wedding car in 2 weeks time!
So can anyone recommend a good non-Aston branded anonymous car cover? It needs to be quick to put on & remove.

Not another one!!
You are showing remarkable restraint. I sometimes wonder if it is worth owning a beautiful car. Then I look at mine and it is.
Saying that if my car was keyed I think that would be it. I could not stand the thought of it happening again.
Listen to the advice to come re covers as I have heard horror stories of ones that damage the paintwork.

So sorry to hear that. Do you mind saying what the circumstances were - was it overnight, on the drive, in a car park, on the street away from home etc etc?
Just curious because with the press constantly talking about the " rich" in a disparaging way I would expect more of this to happen.

There might be a more benign and more palatable explanation to this.
We had what sounds to be a very similar scratch that was created by a low hanging hawthorn branch and ran from headlight to the top of the rear arch.
It was visible, but you could not "feel it".
It was polished out (for free my DMS!) and is not any longer visible to my eye.

My SL is currently sitting in storage next to a lovely Jag with one of these covers. Looks the business and the owner was/is very happy with it.

Sounds like vandalism is a fairly common occurrence for you guys in the UK. Sorta makes me glad I don't live there after reading so many horror stories. I would be absolutely gutted if it happened to my P&J. My condolences.
Yes, you're lucky. The UK is going to the dogs owing to our inane incompetence at handing out suitably harsh punishments to every expanding numbers of scrotes (who are financially compensated by our Government for procreating).Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
