In my MY09 V8V Sportshift I'm used to push the ECU in position 2 while putting seat belt and selecting playlist or radio station before turning ignition on.
As I read on a post (and in the manual: don't tell anybody but I've read it from page 1!) it's said to put the ECU back to position 1 and the push it again to position 3 for ignition.
This morning when I press the brake pad, the ignition turn red with the ECU in position 2 and all I've had to do was pressing the ECU from 2 to 3 to start the engine!
I love this red illumination as the beast wait to be unleashed!
But as I tried it again I can't find the magic red light again.
Was it pure Christmas charm?
I suppose there is some things to do and not to do like pressing the brake pedal before inserting the ECU or starting with the gearbox in neutral or in another gear... Or is it just the time elapsed since the ECU is inserted?
Did anyone got a clear explanation?

Merry Christmas to all of you!
