Will be picking my Xmas present tomorrow afternoon from Stratstone Amersham.

An Onyx black Db9 Volante.

Have spent the last two days clearing out the garage to make space.

Thanks for all the expert advice over the last few months.

If someone could post a picture of the fuseebox with a big sod off arrow pointing at fuse 22 I would appreciate it.(I know its yellow and back left but I am totally incompentent when it comes to mechanicals, even pulling a fuse)

Cheers all again and watch out for the bloke driving around Bucks with a big smile on his face.

Well now it is sitting in the garage, all shiny and I have been sitting in it for the past 2 hours going through the manual and pushing buttons.
Have pulled fuse 22 which in fact is a really simple operation, even for a numpty like me.
I was concerned because on the drive back from the Aston garage i floored it and boy what a noise with it in.God knows what it will sound like now I have it out.
Out of curiosity will I have to get the engine back over 3500/4000 revs for the baffles to stay open permanently?
Won`t be able to drive it again till Thursday due to work but if no answers I will just have to floor it up the M40 and find out for myself.

Wow...what a car,far more impressed than I was with my DB7 Vantage Volante.

It will sound exactly the same above the rpm at which the valves opened before -- now they're just open always, rather than only at higher revs (the default is for the valves to be open, so without the fuse there is nothing (no vacuum) to close them).

Congrats, what a great start to 2012 - having a DB9 in the garage - photos and spec details a must!
