This is shaping up to be a cracking day!

Once I know for definite if I can take the Vantage on Saturday, I shall amend my entry accordingly. I am looking forward to meeting you guys and being a part of any Aston meets over the forthcoming year.

I've tried squinting at mine - but I am going to have to man up and clean it tomorrow!

Generally no-one bothers to try and compete with me. I always win, not helped by the fact I usually park next to Tony, who has the CLEANEST of cars!

Blimey, I was expecting a handful of us. Ah well, the more the merrier, we might have to do the Hindhead Tunnel with this many Astons though!

I shall gove Brooklands a call and tell them we've increased in numbers!!

Cars and women. All good but better when dirty.

I can proudly say that I have never cleaned any car I have owned. And I never will.

With mako blue the dirt really shows and mine is filthy...

Sounds a lot like a challenge, and if it's a challenge, it's also an excuse for me not to clean it. Therefore, I accept!

Good luck smile

Actually my remarks were tongue in cheek, mt Dad cleaned it when I took it home at Christmas! There are some (hopefully) mud stains around the arches that won't come off anymore though frown

My Dad is the same. I left it at his place when I was away in November, and it came back sparkling. Not to fear though, it's been used daily since and picked up a good amount of filth.

Women, yes. Cars, no.

Am I the wierd one for liking my car to be spotless all the time? I think I may be after reading this thread. There is just something exceptionally rewarding about making your car gleam. Very satisfying indeed smile

do you find it as rewarding making someone else's car gleam? I'd be happy to park next to you wink only for your benefit you understand.
