On my second M3, I got the front discs' holes utterly clogged after a couple of track days. I had to use wooden skewers to clean them.
Sounds like they need to be cleaned after a each trackday then..?

I might check mine tonight, can is being disconnected and covered while I head to the moutains for a while. Good time to have a look at it.
Better off just using grooved discs wink

The OEM pads on my V8V were Brembo, as are the calipers.

Did you see the Brembo logo on the shims or the pads (or both)?
When I stripped down the brakes on 4.7 the calipers & shims are badged Brembo but IIRC there were no markings on the pads.
The Brembo logo was on the backing plate of my OEM pads. The anti-squeal shims had no logo. I replaced the pads with with Porterfield (which have substantially less dust) 2-weeks after I bought my car, so the OEM ones were still virtually new. The car is a 07MY.

I think I read somewhere that the OEM pads are Pagid RS4-2-2 but with a Brembo Logo, though I could be repeating a rumour of a rumourrolleyes

I also confirmed today that the rear brakes on the "S"(discs and pads) are the same as on the latest normal Vantages, it's just the fronts that are different.

From having the wheels off both mine I'd agree.
Fronts are allegedly Brembo Gran Turismo kits on the S.
