DB9 Wiper Blades
Discussion
Just realised lifelong dream and bought 2005 DB9 in tungsten /black ,had a run out last sunday got caught in rain on way back from york and realised wipers needed replacement, had bosch aerotwins on other vehicles so got a set, not hard to fit (passengers one a bit awkward), will see how they perform at various speeds / conditions , One thing i noticed straight away was they look much "cleaner" than the standard units.
Sitting in the car they are much less visible , the standard ones seem to dominate the view at the bottom of the screen, will see how they go.
Many thanks to all forum members for invaluable info

Gentlemen,
only for additional information, herebelow the result of a thorough but time-consuming enquiry in Hela Profi Zentrum, Luxembourg.
Bosch set of Aerotwin (made in Belgium) is the A 297 S, expressly for Audi A4 11.07-> , A5 and S5 6/07-> (code 3 397 007 297 AUC).
The 24" blade is available also individually in the "Twin" serie as 368 and as "ordinary" blade as 12.
Thanks for attention.

Pete,
the sizes are surely the right ones.
I may admit that in Luxembourg we do not know ABD: it might be a good alternative.
In any case, in a rainy country like Luxembourg, wiper blades are not the thing on which we are "tight"!.
Cheers

I've tried dozens of pairs of Bosch wipers over the years, until I realised that squealing and graunching across the screen after 6 months isn't normal, its only Bosch ones that do it.
Can we review this thread in 6 months, to see if your new wipers are behaving like Bosh wipers normally do? Where were those Goodyears?

only to inform you that from now on Bosch appears to sell its AERO Twin blades individually.
Accordingly, the 24" blade is the AM600U and the 20" is the AM500, about 15€/each .
Thanks for attention.

I regret to inform you that I posted a wrong information about the new Bosch Aerotwin: I apologize and beg your pardon.
The "new" Bosch AeroTwin wipers ("made in China", in fact) which fit the old wipers "U" arms are named AR20U (code 3397008534 8CT) and AR24U (code 3397008538 8CT 24") respectively, their total price being a bit lower than the "old" Bosch Aerotwin set A297S.
I already mounted them and they look "very nice and clean".

I have just fitted a pair of Goodyear assurance blades and the jury is out about their effectiveness. During a check in the garage they sound more clunky than the original blades when tested on a wetted windscreen and the middle of driver-side blade is not pressing down firmly enough to clear all the water away. Maybe it will reshape in situ, but at the moment I am tempted to refit the OEM blades.
