Any idea what the registration dates for the Magma Red cars are? I know mine was June 2009 (KX09 LHK) and the Car magazine review car (KX09 GXF) must have been May 2009 so both early enough to be the 2009 Salon Prive show car?
It 'could' have been mine which would be quite cool...
Just trying to find a little background on my KX reg motor!
Well done on owning 1 of 7 UK magma red V12V's. Yours is the 3rd UK car. The reg dates I have are:-It 'could' have been mine which would be quite cool...

I would've thought the "Show car" would be 008.
Hope you find the above useful
1 of 6 they say, was the scrapped one the 7th?

Hi Jase. S00012 was a “Product Development” car and as such I’ve learned that some of these are mules for lots of things and when their use has finished they are disposed of. It’s not the intention of A! To ever retail these, so quite likely the official retail Magma red cars will be 6 not 7. 1 of 6 they say, was the scrapped one the 7th?

Are chassis numbers consecutive, can you tell how late or early ones car is?
Chassis numbers are indeed consecutive by model line and body style. As the V12 Vantage was a special, both coupe and roadster chassis numbers start with Sxxxxx. 177’s also use the S chassis number prefix. V8 Vantage’s have a C prefix for coupes and a D for roadsters. starlight225 said:

This makes me think that the V12 Vantage model should perhaps be added to the table of Vantage Limited and Special Editions.
Did every Vantage Special Edition model, use an S chassis number prefix (e.g. N430 and GT12)?

Hi Jon39 , when are you releasing your Ltd edt table?
I thought that the most appropriate time, would be after the very last Vantage has been built (ie. V600). I understand that will be in the next few months (presuming all 14 have now been sold).
My topic went on for a long time and seemed to be popular, so I have now put the information into table form, which makes it much easier to read.

So do we know what the last chassis number is of the last original V12. I guess a 2013 regd car?
Yes, the last numbered V12V manual 6sp is S01376 and was delivered new to Peru! The last cars were produced mid-2013.Edited by Mako V12V on Saturday 25th August 10:32
Mine is 1114. I thought I’d given you my details but can’t see it anywhere in this thread?

So were Uk and ROW cars chassis numbers integrated or have their own sequence?

The cars were built by order sequence, as such they are/were not built in order of the market they were to be sold in and therefore chassis numbers are integrated.Mine is 1114. I thought I’d given you my details but can’t see it anywhere in this thread?
