Bought a 570 S at the start of the summer and my Aston has only been used twice in that time . As much as I love the Aston, I have to say the 570 has totally blown my mind. I seem to have been pretty lucky with no reliability issues or corrosion as mentioned above, but as a car to drive, it really is something special and a proper piece of kit.

I was worried about missing the noise from my V12 vantage (it is de-catted), but weirdly have grown to like the noise and although very different from the Aston (and yes, not as evocative), I think it actually suits the character of the McLaren better.

Both are lovely cars, but as a drivers car, the McLaren really is something else...
Glad to hear your ownership experience has been trouble free, I had a 570s Spider as a courtesy car earlier in the yr and my thoughts were the exact same...and it sounded pretty fruity when you got on it quite a high revving engine for a turbo plant. Not that fussed about top down driving tbh so a coupe is just fine and a nice saving cash wise too!

Agreed, when you're on it, it does sound very good and I also know, form the outside, it sounds even better at full chat, but unfortunately you do lose a bit of that when in the car because of the Carbon tub.

Have decided to put the Aston is going in to storage now for the winter months

Your car is very beautiful Tim, but I am fairly sure Phil's worldwide register is only for the V12 Vantage (ie. 6 speed manual).

I have an idea. The LordBretSinclair Vantage V12S Register. - wink
Hi Tim/Jon,
Thanks for the info. Jon you are correct but my spreadsheet also has a tab for the original V12 Roadster and Zagato and also the little talked about Development cars.
I decided not to extend to the S models because at the time of their launch, there was no limit to production numbers (advertised).

Hi there. Sorry missed this post. Could you possibly email me as I’m missing some info for your car For the Register?
I’ve not seen this one since June 2017 when AM Walton on Thames had it up @ 16720m, £79990.
Cheers
Phil

Hi Ben, thanks for the info. I had 3 reg’s for yours, the EU10 plate and D9SJN and V80TJR.
Yours also has Tailors Grey headlining as an option and a boot mounted umbrella, first aid kit and polished alloy tread plates as options. Could you please confirm if your steering wheel is covered in leather or Alcantara? And are your seat belts black (warm charcoal) or Flint (a lighter grey colour)?
The notes I have for your car are that it was for sale at Grange Aston Martin Brentwood at 3994 miles, £93,500 in June 2012 and again at 5614 miles, £82,500 in December 2014. It was then for sale at Aston Martin Bristol at 13,613 miles, £84,990 in April 2017. Could you supply information as to where you got it from and the mileage please?
Cheers
Phil

Steering wheel is alacantara, seat belts are black. I bought it from George at AM Bristol. Mileage was 17519 when I bought it. Got a smidge over 18k now. Also has piano black ski slope if that is of use.

Quite happy that I just pickup up another 4 cars for the register this week. All for sale in a Europe and advertised on Mobile.de where’s there’s quite a few at the moment.
These include another mako blue but with Lords red interior, and a storm black car with iron ore interior!!
So these 4 additions To my register takes my total to 926 cars out of 1199 or 77.2% of Production biggrin

Great news Mako you are nearly there. Have you noticed the prices are very strong now over in Europe?
