Because it's neither one thing nor the other.

Considering the price, my money would firmly be in the very lightly used DBS camp.

I prefer it to the DBS but as the previous poster said, for the same money you get a lightly used DBS which has already taken the first steep bit of the depreciation curve.

DB9 is better looking and cheaper
DBS is more powerful (and more purposeful looking)
Virage = pointless model

I like the Virage - a nice DB9+. I can also see the shortcomings that others see too.

Improved front lights in line with the Vantage, modified interior, slightly larger wheels, CCMs - but then an extra 20bhp and Adaptive Damping that mere mortals cannot decipher.

Perhaps the fact that all used ones on the pre-owned site are POA may suggest that Aston do not quite know where to pitch it in the marketplace ? smile

I looked at one in comparison to the DB9 and bought the DB9 because it has all attributes of the Virage, the extras are the fairy lights which I do not like, Garmin sat/nav which compares very well with the later upgraded Volvo system with TMC which is a very good system in spite of all the critics of the earlier system.The upgraded switchable suspension is the same as is everything else. In my view whilst a very nice vehicle most of the changes are cosmetic other than the extra 20HP. Steve has one he was at the Brooklands meet.

My local dealer has had the launch Virage (ex AML 1) for sale since early December at £110K -

and they sold 4 new ones in November.

+1

That is also what I did. For me the extra advantage is the DBS comes in Manual, and the Virage only with a (classical) Auto gearbox.
