More questions!! In the roadster Vantage, could anyone tell me how much space there is behind the seats - for example is the little ledge large enough to accommodate 2x aircraft-cabin sized wheely cases?

'fraid not frown

It's about 10 inches deep I'd say, but your bigger problem will be the fact that the seats don't tilt forward enough to get a hard case of that size into that space in the first place.

Soft bags / holdalls are you friends biggrin

A messenger bag in the "tray" and 4-5 bottles of wine behind each seat(depending on how far forward you move it wink)
We've done an 11 day euro tour out of a roadster with no problems.

No real space behind the seats... They have put in coat hooks but even that's a bit of a joke if your tall as they will get crushed..... Not even sure if you would get flight bags in the boot as its also not that big.....

Disagree totally!
We've done 2 week Euro tours for years in roadsters and the Vantage is one of the biggest for storage.
We have a couple of wide messenger bags, one either side behind the seats.
Each bag will take a small "carry on" case of stuff.
I reckon you could also put a lightly packed one behind each seat on the floor.
The boot is big enough to take a single holdall 4-5 times the width of a golf bag and as long.
You can tuck a small holdall in behined each rear light and get a suit carrier on top of that lot wink
I've also managed to get top up oil, basic car cleaning kit and an assortment of coats and hats in there as well.
Oh and don't forget the cubby hole in between the trays.
We use that for sun tan lotions, gloves, binoculars, camera etc

There is more space in a Vantage roadster than a Gallardo spyder, 430 sypder or 911 cab IME

When I go abroad I get the space behind the seats for 2 smallish bags and 2 suit carriers, my girlfriend gets the boot.

If you don't want to spend out on the correct Aston luggage, at least had a look at the dimensions wink

The correct bags mean you'll have a huge amount of space as far as the type of car goes, can get far more in the Aston than my 911 Cab. All about the shaped right bags...

I use 2 rucksacks that are just the right size for it!

I'm in the school of Colin Chapman - add lightness
Besides I know I can throw a Vantage round the Alps with a lot more confidence than a big V12
