Having also voted for that, I did see another TDF picture on this thread that didn't look as good - the difference was sunlight. My own Storm Black car (banned from ths thread...) has huge orange flecks in it under sunlight and looks really good.
The quality of Aston paint means that sunlight reveals a world of subtlety, so until we see other colours similarly photographed, better keep the champagne corked (fictitious champagne, fictitious cork btw!)
Absolutely. Obviously I picked one of the best photos I have to post here, and the amount of direct sunlight makes a world of difference. In addition, that photo was taken immediately after a very expensive professional polish and waxing. It was a very bright, sunny day in Florida. I must admit that I haven't seen it look that good since, but I can vouch that the color in the photo is accurate--I have another shot that includes me, and the color of my clothes is accurate. However I can't post it here since I am making a rather rude gesture. I've included a few more photos from different times. You can see that it is important to catch the specular highlights to really get the full range of color in the paint--under normal conditions it is much more subtle. It really varies in appearance from aqua to violet depending on the lighting, angle, reflections, etc. The color does garner a lot of compliments. The quality of Aston paint means that sunlight reveals a world of subtlety, so until we see other colours similarly photographed, better keep the champagne corked (fictitious champagne, fictitious cork btw!)

Finally, one that my wife took in our driveway using her Blackberry...

N400 orange is fantastic - just none for sale when I bought my black N400.

I have only seen one Morning Frost V12V in the wild. That was in Melbourne last year - walking around town after having seen our colonial friends being given a cricket lesson. Wonder if the owner is on here?Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
