Holy thread resurrection batman. A thread from 2012 with posts from many of the ‘old guard’ and before today, the two last posts were 2018 and 2021.

Todays two resurrecters/new posters obviously didn’t agree with the thread title/subject matter so decided to rather belatedly change it…. biggrin

Nice to see a pic of my own car on there on P2 from way back in 2012.

Black takes a bit of work to keep nice, but its well worth the effort.

I'm thinking of buying this one. What do you guys think of this configuration silver/black?

The Alfred Dunhill Edition DB7, in Dunhill Silver.
This colour would later be used by AM on the 2002 Vanquish and renamed Stronsay Silver..

Lovely shots! I know the first two locations well, but need to explore upper Wales more.

There’s a special place in hell reserved for those with black wheels!

Hereby lies the problem in asking other people's opinion on subjective subjects.
The thing is, do YOU like it?

Ok, it's not our first choice configuration, but we like it! So, we decided to buy this car! Our first Aston Martin after several 911's. I'm looking forward to collect it next week. driving

Well done and congrats on your new steed.

You may find other road users like you more in an Aston than they did in your porsche. Just saying hehe

100% this. I get far more approving nods and thumbsup when I'm in the Aston than I ever did in my previous Porsche.

Enjoy the car, I personally think it looks great.

Well done and enjoy! Great looking car and good timing as the weather is moving in that top down direction!
