Technically you are correct Nick - I do own it but it is used by my youngest stepdaughter Amy, 22, currently a budding actress in London.

Any of you Southern guys and gals got any part time jobs down there for her ??

I should forewarn you she is a gentle wee soul smile

This seems to be a common move. I had an E92 M3 for 3 years and over 45,000 miles then replaced it with a 4.3 V8V. The Aston is not as quick as the M3, but it's certainly quick enough. The main difference is in the throttle response - above 6k revs up to the 8.3k red line the M3 was fantastically savage with a great exhaust note, however to regularly experience this on public roads just isn't sensible- 110 ish in third gear. The benefit with the Aston is that you experience a fantastic sound track all of the time, the controls are all a little heavier so you feel you are properly driving, and the whole ownership experience is fantastic. The only downside is that I was going to use it as a 15k a year daily drive and whilst the car would easily do that it feels so special that to do this would almost feel as though I was abusing it so I'm keeping it to around 6k pa - so no garage queen insults thanks. So you can work out the advice - go for it.

Will definitely be at Groes tomorrow with OH. Been 'toiling' at Celtic Manor for last two days. Can confirm Noah would have been at home yesterday but sunny right now. Back to Nottinghamshire now then back to North. Wales tomorrow.
