Just watching last nights Top Gear and not seen it mentioned on here yet. Slash's last 3 cars are:
Vanquish
DBS
V12V in that order.

Saw that. Top man. Might have to buy his new album now and play it in the vantage, I hope it's good!

At last - someone admits to watching Top Gear! Had expected a thread on this to appear last night but it seems everyone was busy doing something more grown up and sensible.

Anyway, the good news is Astons are cool, Astons are rock & roll, Astons are what us priviledged lot get to go out and play in smokin

(with apologies to the pipe & slippers brigade hehe)

They don't look like standard or option wheels?

Was a good show - surprised he chopped in a DBS for the V12V, what with the most portly roads in the states. Rock and roll is cool wink

I think it's the inhabitants that are portly rather than the roads...

I think his hat is pretty cool in a rock and roll sort of way!

He has bloody awful taste in wheels though!

And they look like they are clothed in about an inch of rubber too. That must make for a harsh ride.

Original DBS wheels no ? look nice from that angle - its the only thing i wasnt sure about on the car was the wheels ..a bit 'wolfrace' for such a top end car

From HRE Performance Wheels in California - Aston wheels clearly not rock 'n' roll enough!

They look like black DBS wheels. I quite like them.

Compared to most celebs this is tastefully done.

Way to go Mr Slash.

You'd think being behind Axel for most of his career he'd have a 911!

bowtie

ahem... sorry.

Talking of great TV debuts did anyone see the new National Lottery ad last night. There's a 'blink and you'll miss it' cameo from something that looks a bit Aston, not sure on the model though.

2 things; firstly it's very much DB9 shape as opposed to Vantage (and clearly a convertible) and then the headlights are the Rapide/Virage ones, none of the others are that long back over the front.

(P.S. Pause, go Full Screen, then it's much more obvious)
