I'm going to be to differ - I had cause to use the one in my old car on someone elses car to prevent an oil fire
Imagine picking up a supermodel taking her out on a date in a car with a fire extinguisher. The conversation would go something like:
Her: "Why is there a fire extinguisher in your car?"
Me: "Oh, that's incase the car spontaneously combusts."
Her: "Stop the car, I'm getting out."

Her: "Wicked, lets get involved."

Does it matter...
I'm afraid it is important Georgeous. If, as noted by Mr K, you need to use one on an oil fire you would certainly not want a water extinguisher - you need to brush up on your CO2s, ABC Powder and Foam types. The servicing regime for these appliances varies greatly too from annually to 10 yearly.
You'd be amazed at the amount of crap in my head !!
BTW Nick, I find your figure very good - on a par with a good cover - and certainly cheaper than I was thinking.
I might have them with the Jockman family logo

How many oil fires has your DB9 had? Actually, how many oil fires has any car you've owned had? True story, I couldn't make it up - quite a few years ago, BMW 635, engine caught fire on way to fishing trip with friends. Tried to put it out with only non alcoholic thing I had, a 2L bottle of Irn Bru. Failed. A man in a camper van with extinguisher came to rescue. Mates were meanwhile hiding behind wall, some shouting a petrol tanker was coming along road, others urging me to throw sausages on. Carried an extinguisher ever since.Jockman said:
