Slartibartfast - I discussed this with the guys who put me 3M film on. You need to be VERY careful. They do it vet slowly with a heat gun to soften the glue. I saw one tha had been done with a hair dryer and petrol frown what a mess!

Interesting idea - I don't think I would want the level of attention it would draw. Having said that, I drive a Caterham 7 and haven't removed the Le Mans stickers applied in 2009... ;-) I think they still suit the car.

There was some discussion in Evo magazine a few months back about a car which remained wrapped for a couple of years. My understanding was that the paint underneath was saved a couple of years worth of wear and tear.

Of course, if you do wrap your Vantage, there will always be imposters...
