The future of AM - the DB-Air hover car.

How do those dubber tiles go down? With glue? I have old concrete in my garage - not sure if they'll stick.

That's fantastic Nick! I love traction engines - its a childhood memory (my Dad & his brother used to show them) - the sight, the sound - even the smell of them! I hope this doesn't make me wierd paperbag

Not at all Molly. I see them about all the time as he is as I say my neighbour. You never tire of seeing them. The picture only shows 2 of about 7 he owns as well as endless vintage tractors and all the stuff that went with them back in the day. He opened it all up for the Jubilee so the rest of the villagers could see them.

This is the thread that originally sucked me into the Pistonheads world (thanks Molly.)
Its taken a while but I have at last got the garage I want.

I am so jealous. My family would never see me again. Unless I can find someone to excavate under my Victorian Semi then mines going to have to keep living on the drive.

Nice setup there Neil thumbup
You've even installed a wee door at the back for when Jockers comes round smile.

Ha Ha Geoff they are actually mirrors so that I can see my side gaps driving in and out. I am old you know and getting older!

I suspected they were but I was hoping you'd just invented the 'Jockflap' smile

Aw thanks Neil! bowtie

That looks fantastic.

Nice to see the old thread resurrected too. Those posters on our garage wall in the photo at the start of this thread were from EVO when Purdey was featured in a comparison test (when she was a standard V8S). She also appeared in Vantage magazine this summer in a write-up about Bamford Rose specials, just before her untimely demise frown

Still - onward & upward yes …… I've just put Pearl away in that same garage after the McGurks trip today and Stratus White looks even better than Tungsten in there under the spotlights thumbup

I didn't think we would see a bigger garagethan where Vesuvius sleeps!

If everyone had garages like these, it would make my life a lot easier!

Nice one Kevin
