Boll**ks to MPG and restricting your mileage, we have beautiful cars that want to be driven ,get out and enjoy it , love it , occasionally thrash it , and that goes for you too Jockman, beast it. wink

Fair comment, matey.

I made Jocky Wilson look tall frown

When the Dealer used to take the car away to wash it under warranty it would always be returned with the seat MILES away from the steering wheel.

Thank heavens for memory seats smile

Well an Umpa-lumpah is far too statuesque so you must have been the stunt double for the transformed Mike TV. wink

If you speak nicely to him he might let you have a wee dram wink

I don't ever drive my AM or Lotus to work because I don't want my coworkers to know I have them—too much resentment. Even so, I managed to put 10K miles on the AM in the past year. Cars are meant to be driven.

I didn't really think about it when I got mine but I've managed to put 6,500 miles on it since 1st Feb. It went back to the dealer for some quirks last week and I got an astounded email from the salesman asking where I'd been in it!

Similar to earlier posts, I'm of the opinion that if I start thinking "Can I afford to take the Aston?" then I can't afford to own it. What's the point? It's not a mantle piece ornament, it's a car - a car's purpose is to be driven. Only except is if you owned multiple sports cars and could choose depending on your mood smile
