I cleaned my V8V for the first time today (only had her two weeks) and I have to say it was quite a sensuous experience. Not a single sharp edge to be found, just lots of curves and smooth contours.
Really quite an unexpected experience. Anyone else feel that way or has another fetish surfaced in my mid-life crisis years

Despite my adverse news the other night, I've actually experienced a fairly productive few days...
1. Completed Tax Retun last Wednesday, 2 hours after HMRC site reopened.
2. Spent 2 relaxing hours mowing the lawns.
3. Gave a blood sample at the docs - big deal for one who is petrified of blood and needles
4. Polished the metal parts on the DB9 - RELEVANT TO TOPIC
Magnificent Mr K kindly donated some metal cleaner to my cause. My exhaust pipes, side strakes and even my molars are now all visible from space
The grille remains a problem however. Yes, the front edges are gleaming but the horizontal flat parts remain cloudy - are they stainless steel ?? Am I using the wrong stuff ??
Not exactly 'sexy' but ultimately fulfilling

It wasn't a great day for washing where I live. Washed and dried, it rained so I dried it again, it rained again so I let it get a blow dry in the windy weather. Any excuse to run my chamois around her curves!Still looks sparkly though
I've spent the past 2 days washing , polishing, waxing my cars, the ultimate therapy,nothing better than looking back at your labours and admiring those beautiful curves and then having a bit of special time to yourself like a bloody good run out this afternoon in the DB9 for a few hours, heaven.
I bought an old fashioned ACME mangle off eBay... Use it to dry the micro fibre towels... Amazing how much water it shifts, and then the towel does a much better job....
Oh, I accidentally bought 2 ACME mangles
