Got one of those but couldn't use it as there is a hosepipe ban. Used the chamois as I didn't want to leave hard water on the car. Did run out to remove water from the cracks and crevices (and did have a half of Abbots too) smile

I wish dealers wouldn't put that horrible tyre dressing on tyres as It sprays all over the wheels.

Use a microfibre cloth to dry the car not Chamois!

Haven't washed any of the cars since the hosepipe ban.

I'm sure I watched a Karcher? advert last night, boasting that all it's jet washers can run out of water butts??

Does this help in any way ?

It does beg the question regarding how the water butt itself receives water...confused

Don't have any yet! I nearly had a fit when I saw how expensive they were eek

Won't be doing my test for a bit so don't really need any til then, plus I'm only riding on private land at the moment. Will need a new helmet too, can't decide between these 2:

Oh come on George... Show a bit of originality..... Every other power ranger out there wears a bloody Rossi helmet....

I always used to buy a plain white, and get a custom job done.... Oh and I always chose Arai, or AGV...
As for leathers BKS or you might as well be nakedhehe

George if you haven't done already, go to a bike shop and try on different makes. Once you decided on the make then you can decide on colour scheme. The answer will be an Arai!
Leathers aren't that expensive ~£1000 should see you get something half decent. Wait until you see the price of the boots! Not forgetting decent gloves £150-£200 a set.

Yeah, that's my concern. I do love that helmet from when he was testing though. I've got a plain black Shoei at the moment that needs replacing soon, never tried AGV or Arai, do like the look of the AGV ones though. Simoncelli replica is a possibility, but wouldn't match the bike. Guy Martin replica is £850 so that got ruled out! Cal Crutchlow replica could be a possibility too, I like that with the green on it. I'll decide in a few months smile

I saw a Dainese set of leathers for £1100, I was geniunely expecting around £500, had no idea of the cost! Guess it's not an area to save money on though.

I'm not sure what colour scheme I want, I'll be on a black CBR600 with HM Plant Honda logos stuck on it for now, but I want a Ducati 999R in a year or two... might be worth getting red, or just plain black scratchchin

Arai don't do replicas of my favourite riders so wasn't planning on getting one of them! Do like the Cal replica but it's bloody expensive - http://replicaracehelmets.com/product/arai-rx-7-co...
Nori Haga's is cool too, but my friend already has that so it's ruled out smile
Think it will be the Iannone one.

The last AGV I had was a Troy Corser rep.... Good match for my Triumph as it had the Aussie flag on it with the union jack and a crocodile eating pistons....hehe

I gave it to my mates little lad when I packed in the bikes...... As for leathers, I loved my BKS made to measure, but before I could afford that level, I used to wear RS Taichi..... Good enough for Swantz, so god nough for mesmile
