V12 Vantage was in for its first service today (in Vancouver) - I had previously mentioned to the dealership that the front grill was alarmingly easy to dismantle, simply by pulling out the horizontal slats one by one, a characteristic they described as unintended. So they already had a replacement grill ready to install (no charge - covered by warranty). I was a little surprised, however, to receive a call mid-morning saying that they were unable to complete the major first service task, namely an oil change, as they did not have the requisite replacement oil filters in stock (first V12 Vantage they have serviced). Will have to wait until they are flown in from AM - hopefully next Tuesday/Wednesday. Fortunately, they were smart enough not to drain the oil before checking if they had the required parts; unfortunately, they didn't think about this ahead of the service!!

Bit of a poor showing really Terry - I assume your V12 Oil Filter is the same as mine ???

They are also the cheapest filter to replace @ £20 for the part, the cheapest of the 3 filters.

They are also the ONLY filter that needs replacing on every service....surely they have an abundance of them ?

Good luck with everything else smile

Apparently the V12 Vantage oil filters are unique to the model

Fair enough matey - no overlap with the DBS at all or are those filters the same as the DB9 / Virage / Rapide ?? smile
