Right... this Thorpe Park place... where is it and where is this run going to be..? Edit, googled it... YORKSHIRE??? That's miles away rolleyes

Does anyone want to drive up from SE/London together so I don't get lost and end up at at some theme park...?

Will we need snow chains? Foreign money? Whippets?

That would be splendid ole boy. However I have promised The Moose that I would leave as late as possible to help her with the sprogs so lunch may be a little tricky. I will work on her argue

Ah, that's fair enough really - we'll make up for it with a mahoosive dinner and nice bottle of wine, this time the plonk is on me smile

No-one headng up the M1 (or is the A1 a nicer drive?) from London/SE region? cry

What a generous offer le Yeti !!!

Didn't I hear Mr Hall register a recent interest in popping up for a spin?? Be good to see his new vehicle yes Wonder what it looks like?? No doubt very similar to the 300 photos we've seen of it wink

Working on that one for you Lewis. Romi and I looking 80% likely for this (few things to wriggle out of), so I'll make sure you can strategically position yourself for left-overs biggrin

If all works out (will know by end of week), then definitely up for a convoy. I won't make it to Trinity beforehand though - kind of the wrong direction for me.

A1 is possibly the longest way round you could pick. Why not go via Wales rolleyes

Be great if you and Romi can make it Adam, and don't worry about stone chips this time, most of the roads in Yorkshire haven't been Tarmaced yet - the mud tends to hold things together. laugh

Thanks Andrew :-)

They have roads in Yorkshire?! I assumed we were just going to be driving around in fields, avoiding the whippets. Result.

I have a brand new windscreen since Wales, so will be keeping my distance and avoiding overtaking this time biggrin

Hmm, right as usual Nick... smile

From my gaff, and according to Google maps; M1 -> 202miles, A1 and A1(M) -> 196miles.

Shortest route I can find via Wales seems to be around 270miles...

I owe Nick a bottle, so to speak. And before Cockernee John gets all 'Kray Twins', not that kind of bottling...

Are you saying Tony has a new car? You'd think he'd have posted pictures confused

My sincerest apologies. I can't believe the A1 is shorter given you have to go further round the M25. getmecoat
