Discussion
I live a few doors away and have been there and have some pics at http://marklynham.zenfolio.com/p362759701
Excellent evening with lots of interest, the whole place is gleaming headed by the most wonderful of showrooms.
The patina and oily rags may have gone but the Pride and Passion shines bright in anticipation of offering the all round Aston package, new and modern intertwines heritage,
restoration and the conservation of this wonderful marque.
Interesting to speak with the good Doctor at length, I now get the feeling that Mikey's Horse isn't quite as dead as many may think..........
Well theres been major investment and clearly a lot of had work gone in to this exceptional revamped facility so all I can say is the very best of luck to Kingsley and his team
and all the very best to Paul,Simon and the rest of new sales department.
If your passing it really is a refreshing sight where new meets old so treat yourself and pop in, I'm sure a warm and professonal welcome awaits.

Greetings Phillip,
The whole thing in my eyes from the luxury mini coaches taking visitors to the event from the park and ride facility, to the gesture of a goodie bag on departure was class.
Certainly keeps the appetite wet for future models that will no doubt become apparent shortly.......
Yes it would be true to say I was very impressed although tinged with sadness to see a lot of the old character had gone.
Do hope your good lady is improving after the recent setbacks.

The works service has always made the most money for Aston-more then once the considered closing the part which actually makes the cars and concentrated on repairing them instead!
Its called progress. Like removing the pin-ups, fixing the roof so you didnt need buckets everywhere, and sadly not allowing small boys and their dads full access if the just pop-in one afternoon...

You need not tell me about the on line shopping thing.......I've got 3 women here going at it like no tomorrow,
I'm on first name terms with about 3 dozen delivery drivers that keep dragging their heavily laden sacks to the door to take pity on me.
The goodie bag revealed a lovely leather clad USB pen, several fine magazines, the Bonhams up and coming auction brochure and a load of sales flyers
for new and previously enjoyed Astons.
Unfortunately no ECU for another V12V though it came very close the other week.......
We will just have to wait and see this battle isn't over so I'm barely Vanquished at this stage.........
