4.7 Vantage Sport Pack
Discussion
Not sure how my V12V suspension compares to the sports pack, however according to the blurb it's supposed to be 45% stiffer than the standard car (I think). Coming from the 4.3 this translated in to less jiggling around and a more controlled ride which i find, as, if not more comfortable..
As yeti says... you really need to try it..

I love the sportpack suspension, the car corners flat, your right foot controls the back of the car, steering feels fabulous, driving down a 'B' road is just a wonderful experience.
There are people that find it a bit bumpy, but so what? These cars are a bit loud too, if you want comfy and quiet, buy an S class.
My Vantage has lightweight seats, and sports suspension, so there isn't much padding between my arse and the bumps, but its never a problem. My other car is an Audi A8 with air suspension and comfort seats, but the transition from that to the Vantage is never a problem.

Seven months into my V8V 4.7 with sports pack I have had no regrets, (once the suspension was set-up) I would describe the ride as "firm", pressed hard the car is just a delight. The ride may be "choppy" on a uneven surfaces but it all adds to the pleasure. In hindsight I would have looked for lightweight seats too but having bought the car for less than half the original purchase price with 4,500 miles, I just know I am fortunate to have one. It is just wonderful. The Range Rover may be a better utility/work vehicle, my pre-war Lagonda's fun on a rally or on the track. Biggest smile - the Aston, by far!
I did ~10k last year in my 4.7 Sport Pack & Sport seated roadster, mainly A & B roads all over Europe. Sometime 7-8 hours of driving over a couple weeks on the hoons. Very comfortable a little bit of roll and rebound but nothing to upsetting
My current car ( Vnatage S with lightweight seats) has done 2.5k miles over the winter on in the same sort of circumstances.
It is ALOT stiffer and could be tiresome for a whole days driving, but I love how it handles so much prefer it to my old SP car.

Depends on the road, really. On decent and half-decent surfaces it's fine and gives a sharper, more "sports car" type of feed back (although I haven't driven non-sports pack cars that much TBH).
On bad surfaces the non-SP would be better as it gets rather fidgety, but personally it's a good trade-off for me.

I find the standard suspension skittish on poorer "b" roads, are you experienced guys saying that the sports pack suspension is better both in terms of skittishness and comfort and as other recent posts does the make of tyre i.e in my case Bridgestones, have an effect. Thanks
Sport Pack has the same Bridgestone RE050 AM9 tyresI found it very good on LOTS of B roads including some really bad ones
I have had both starting with a 4.3 and then moving to a 4.7 with sports pack. In my opinion the sports pack gives much better body control but it is a little bit harsher ride, although not hugely. I have a favourite road near where I live and the 4.3 always felt a little floaty through the corners whereas the 4.7 just felt planted. I'd go for the sports pack every time.
