I find that list above far more confusing than Aston doing a Carbon Black edition, a Carbon edition in 3 colours including black, the UB edition (just 20 from memory ?) and the final/ultimate edition in a run of 100 to mark the end of production - I think it's the only type of DBS now available i.e. the last of the run is slightly better/differently specced.
You forgot the tacky Dragon Edition. "Limited" to just 88 examples which, IMO, is 88 too many. In fairness, I'd prefer they do market specific specials rather than tailor the mainstream products to what are now their important markets of China, Russia, Middle East, etc
We have to accept, albeit reluctantly, that going forward the products will be designed with half an eye on those markets - they may well lose some of their appeal here as a result (though that's far from definite) but it would be madness of AM, on a corporate level, not to ensure they meet the requirements of their fastest growing markets. Without the sales in places like China, the company would have some serious problems. I guess the balancing act is to ensure they don't lose their core markets in the process

I don't think they're tacky at all, just tailored for a different market and different tastes. The colours, the numbers, all very significant for the Chinese. A very smart move that I hope pays off, and from what I have seen - it should do, they are stunning. Just not what I would drive round rainy London/Bristol!
