DBS and DB9 replacement presented in Italy next week-end?
Discussion
The picture does not do it justice. The wheels on the one i saw were so much better. The carbon roof is an optional extra along with the mirror casings. I saw the car in a copper colour with very light cream interior - When you all see it in the flesh you will have another opinion IMO. I think the people that have seen it already, will agree with me.
Cant believe the picture as been shown - thats the French for you!

Well done Seb !!!What was turning into a boring bullst topic for the select few is now open to the masses.
Agree with the Virage similarity, and I'm sure many of the Zag connections would disappear if the colour were different - certainly the rear lights are totally different.
I still believe it to be a stunning car - like all the other Astons - but the expectation being built up by previous postings has most certainly not been fulfilled

Well here we go. I assumed Seb was one of us but lived in Martinique. As you are aware you have alluded to the fact I have been living in the Carribean for the last few months No idea where this is going but the Louis Latour Macon Lugny is going down fine. Off to Twickenham in the morning to watch Tigers beat Quinns. Happy days. You finished your drugs yet matey. Sorry to take this OT but who cares xAMDBSNick said:

I've edited above matey Should be a great rugby game tomorrow - been prescribed another 2 weeks of tablets so no red wine in Dubrovnik I'm afraid but I have tried the odd shandy and found it to be ok - possible I may not return to the red stuff and I can't really appreciate your whites
Sure I was watching a sporting event the other day and your company's banner was at the finish line ?????? I may be mistaken, it may have been a similar-named multinational.

Multipostcode maybe. We only support the local Rugby clubs in our local town of Rugby where the famous game was of course invented. Stick with the pils buddy they will work in the end and some fine Chateau D'Angludet will be waiting for you. I may even bring you a bottle on the 14th Should be a great rugby game tomorrow - been prescribed another 2 weeks of tablets so no red wine in Dubrovnik I'm afraid but I have tried the odd shandy and found it to be ok - possible I may not return to the red stuff and I can't really appreciate your whites

The new car will bring AM back into the 21st century with all the new tech and help compete with the other exotic cars currently available IMO
Well, it is your opinion. But I'm betting that the verdict will not be kind to this failed execution of a replacement to the current DB9/DBS.We may love Aston, but that doesn't mean that sometimes manufacturers get it all wrong when it comes time to a replacement. Many think the new MB SL is not an improvement, for example.
I'm sure SOME will like the new design, but EVERYONE liked the old design. And that's the problem. If you are going to replace perfection, you'd better do a bang up job. The fact that there are negative comments from Aston owners is not an auspicious start.

It seems now that you guys are turning it again into a boring bullst topic for the select few.Can we keep it open to the masses and discuss about the car ;-)
To me the choice of the colour for this "premiere" does not make justice to the car
Ok it is not a revolution and it is difficult to keep up with the expectations for an Aston most of all at the first sight but IMHO in other colours it might look definitively better.
The splitter with contrasting colours seems like a tuning addition to a beatiful line, but in a different colour ...
Rear lights seems similar to the One 77 and I like the rear
Curious to see the interior
