As I will be traveling in France this week

Hearsay is that it's a garage job, wheel arch liner off etc I'm not going to be driving at night and will carry the headlight stickers to show the gendarmes if I get stopped....

Simple answer no.

The beams can be altered, but it's not a simple job, HWM quoted me 1 1/2 hours labour to alter the beams to LHD, and the same to return them to RHD.

I took the chance and travelled to Portugal with the lights as they were.

90mins seems a bit excessive. You can do it yourself if you are handy.

Not sure about the DB9 but the Vantage has an access hatch in the wheel arch lining to get to the back of the headlights and flip the switch.

Also you can only flatten the beam (which is what you want) and this only if you have gas discharge headlights. Is that the case on all DB9?

Here's a picture of mine with the flattened beam:

Codswallop!

It's a small lever in the back of the light unit that moves the deflector over.
It is however a wheel off job.

Nah, you can just turn the wheel inboard on the side you are adjusting.

Probably right if you are patient and flexible laugh

I wouldn't bother at this time of the year, just carry a set of Eurolite stickers in case the flics stop you. I had to drive through driving rain for three daylight hours with dipped lights on and nobody flashed me between Nurnburg and Karlsruh.
