Wow wee! What's the difference in the ultimate to a standard dbs? Comfy seats ?
I think the differences are quite minor cosmetic things (a bit of extra cf here and there). But the main thing is they are the last ones made (hence ultimate) with sill plaques to match and there are only 59 of them. And that gives them more cache with collectors (rightly or wrongly) I have it in my head that DJ Smail had one for sale a while back at a price not far short of the Nicholas Mee one. They don't come up for sale that often and almost invariably are garage queens We didnt really get an "ultimate" DB9 (just the last 9). But presimably there's going to be a good chance of an Ultimate Vantage at some point?

And if astonmartins.com is correct that's presumably the last DBS made and the only manual Ultimate. Wonder if the buyer/dealer realised that?
